Eminem’s sixth album Recovery sold over 741,000 copies in its opening week, giving the rapper the best selling album since 2008.
According to Billboard, Recovery is Eminem’s sixth straight #1 album putting the rapper second to Jay-Z for the most chart-toppers.
Recovery is the follow-up to Eminem’s 2009 album Relapse, which moved 608,000 copies during its first week on the shelves.
On the digital side, Recovery proved to be a big seller as well.
The album moved another 255,000 copies, given it the second biggest opening week in digital sales history, with Coldplay’s Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends, which debuted with 288,000 downloads in 2008.
Eminem’s single “Love the Way You Lie” with Rihanna is also sitting at #1 on the Digital Songs charts this week, after selling 338,000 downloads of the song.
Recovery is also the #1 album in the United Kingdom, after selling over 140,000 copies last week.
BIGGAVEL IS RETURNING
Incarcerated rapper Max B. is planning to release an album of all new material titled Vigilante Season, now that he is out of his contract with former associate Jim Jones.
According to Max B., he recorded 40 songs in one week last year, prior to he was sentenced to 75 years in prison for his role in a botched robbery/murder in September 2009.
“Vigilante was real special to me. It was like they giving me a shot,” Max B. told MTV News about the album. “Even if it wasn't coming out, they gave me the feel of just going to do the album. I was doing it my way.”
Max B. was convicted for his involvement in the 2005 robbery of two men in a Fort Lee, New Jersey hotel room.
The rapper’s stepbrother Kelvin Leerdam and his girlfriend, Gina Conway was also convicted of shooting and killing David Taylor in an attempt to rob the man of $30,000.
Leerdam is serving life plus 35-years, while ex-girlfriend Gina Conway received 18 years.
Although Max B. is incarcerated at The New Jersey State Penitentiary, he still continues to release music.
His latest mixtape A Wave Called Yes was released last month and recorded in June of 2009, while he was on trial for his role in Taylor’s murder.
“It was a real busy week. I was really busy on trial. For the music to come out that good while I was on trial, that was surprising to me,” Max B. stated. “That just let me know, no matter how long I'm gone from the game, I'm still a natural. I still can make quality work. I'mma still be Biggavelli."

First, Christopher Coke was captured. Coke is the reputed drug lord in Jamaica that caused calamity and chaos about a month ago. He is reportedly fearful he will die under suspicious circumstances like his daddy.
The murder of Anna Nicole Smith is being investigated.
Luke officially disowned his kids and admitted that with them…he was sperm doner. WOW!
Gary Coleman secretly filed a restraining order against ex-wife Shannon Price in February. You’re not getting away with killing, Gary!!!
People seem to be trying to make Dez a star like Amber Rose. I don’t know, I just don’t know.

Moving on…Bushwick is originally from Jamaica I am being told and he never formally became a citizen of the United States.

I personally don't think Tip is talking slick about Jay, but this comes on the heels of Jay-Z allegedly talking about LL Cool J. He said the following to CNN.
“I’m not going to be the 40-year-old rapper. I would not. That’s Jay. He’s doing it very well. Hats off, but I just don’t see that for me.”
“If I had the option to [be] Jay-Z [or] Will Smith, I think I’d go with Will,” he revealed. “I’m a Jay-Z fan. I have a lot of admiration and respect for Jay and his legacy. But I feel like Will, he gets to spend more time with his family. He gets to be home more and actually raise his kids. I feel like he has more of a home life…and the money don’t hurt. There is no right or wrong here, but rappers seem to want to cut their careers off short. Bruce Springsteen is over 60 and Jay-Z is the richest rapper at 40. What's the issue? Do that which is best for your life. Ozzie Osbourne is crazy as batsh*t and he is on tour at 61. Go figure. Don't limit yourself or Hip-Hop.

Catfights amongst the wives of the ballers are nothing new to us (especially with shows like "The Game" giving us the inside track to how ish goes down). But this catfight involves who's the more 'real" NBA wife, and Vanessa Bryant has apparently been going IN on Khloe Kardashian Odom.
This fight is like a piece of pepperoni and a piece of salami fighting over who's less pork-y. Read on for the deets....
In Touch Weekly reports Vanessa Bryant has been ostracizing the new Mrs. Odom--who recently gifted her hubby Lamar with a $400,000 Rolls Royce congratulatory present--because she's a "fake" wife. And she won't even let her in the inner sanctum of the basketball wives:
Khloé Kardashian is feeling unloved — not because of her husband, Lamar Odom, but because of one of his Lakers teammates’ wives. According to an insider, Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, “hates” Khloé and her entire family, whom she sees as attention-grabbing fame-seekers. And instead of hiding her feelings, Vanessa refuses to have anything to do with the 26-year-old. “She won’t sit anywhere near Khloé at Lakers games,” the insider reveals, adding that because of Vanessa’s dislike of her, Khloé has been shut out of the tight-knit circle the other Lakers’ wives have formed. “At a dinner for the wives, Vanessa didn’t want to invite Khloé,” the insider shares. “She said Khloé is a ‘fake wife,’ and she didn’t want fake wives there.” The feeling is mutual.
